What is Roundhill?
Twerton Roundhill is an open space in Southdown on the south-western edge of Bath. It is owned and maintained by Bath and North-East Somerset Council. From the top of Roundhill you can enjoy 360 degree panoramic views across the city, over fields and woodland looking towards Wells, and past the Severn Bridges to the Welsh hills.
The site was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 1994 and is managed to provide a habitat for many species of wild flower, butterflies and other wildlife.
